Some Wisdom and Some Beauty for the Day!!

There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man. -Winston Churchill

You don't get harmony when everyone sings the same note. -Doug Floyd

He is rich according to what he is, not according to what he has.
-Henry Ward Beecher

The way I see it, every time a man gets up in the morning he starts his life over. Sure, the bills are there to pay, and the job is there to do, but you don't have to stay in a pattern. You can always start over, saddle a fresh horse and take another trail. -Louis L'Amour

The rose and lily are beautiful, and the quotes give me something to think about.

Beautiful....simply beautiful images Sylvia. Wow...they all give me inner peace.

And your quotes. I like the Louis L'Amour but my favorite is: " He is rich according to what he is, not according to what he has."
-Henry Ward Beecher
I say... Amen to that.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
