Our World!!

Another new week!!! Time flies whether you’re having fun or not, but fortunately I am having fun – as always! More pics today from my time in Seattle enjoying old friends and the colorful beauty that is everywhere!!! I do hope you enjoy!! Wishing all of you a wonderful week ahead!!

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.
-- Stanley Horowitz

There is a harmony in autumn, and a luster in its sky, which through the summer is not heard or seen, as if it could not be, as if it had not been!
-- Percy Bysshe Shelley

October is a symphony of permanence and change.
-- Bonaro W. Overstreet

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.
-- Elizabeth Lawrence

Great colours! We had a real spring weekend - and out came the first snake of the season. Not autumn at all.

Your picture taken beside the water makes me want to suck it up and put the old bottom on an airplane for a trip to Baimbridge Island. I am WAY overdue for one, but my back despises planes and my irrational fear of flying has returned. Gorgeous coloring in the fall shots.

Great pics Sylvia, the only problem with October and Fall is that they don't last long enough.

You have such an assortment of old-growth trees - they're spectacular in the fall.

Our autumn is strange. Hardly any colouring and a lot of leaves falling off the trees, due to some very cold and wet days in the beginning of this month.
I hope that your week is as beautiful as your photos!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
