Sky Watch!!

Welcome to this weeks Sky Watch and a chance to visit some of the places around the world and view their beautiful skies!! Particularly here in the Northwest United States it’s hard not to look up and let the beauty of our skies take your breath away!  Particularly here in Oregon and Washington state -- but of course, I’m a tad prejudiced since I have lived in both states over the past 20 years!! So, join us and enjoy and hopefully share the beauty of your skies with us as well!!

Autumn, the year's last, loveliest smile.
-- William Cullen Bryant

Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.
-- George Eliot
Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.

Hi Sylvia, I love your skywatch photos! That first one is similar to my view here ... I really like looking out over the water. The past few days have been cloudy with a bit of rain but the Pacific Northwest is awesome even in that kind of weather. Hope your week is going well and wishing you a fine weekend ahead. Always appreciate your kind comments on my blog!

Your gorgeous skies just keep on coming day after day . You must live in heaven on earth...which does not include the mountains of western VA.

So lovely. The quote about flying around to see every Autumn was really sweet -- we used to love to travel during this season as we could watch the changing leaves and colors as we went. Thank you so much for helping to host SWF.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
