Balancing Rocks.. by Michael Grab
I don’t know if you have ever watched the guy down by
Stanley Park (Vancouver, B.C.) but it
really is amazing watching him stack
rocks, some pretty big, that just seems to defy gravity.
Zen and the art of rock stacking! All I know is if I were
to try it, all I would get for my efforts are scraped shins
and busted toes.
I must say Michael is even better than the Stanley Park guy.
He’s also from B.C. The vertical ones you can possibly write
off as a balancing act but how he does the arches truly does
defy gravity! Pretty cool!
This is so hard to believe; so impressive. How does he do it?

Wow, amazing how the rocks are balanced. The arches are cool! Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
Amazing! Simply Amazing!
These creations put the hoodoos my family creates in the creek in front of the house to shame. Wait until I tell them they have to do better...hahaha. These are absolutely amazing. They defy gravity.
Talk about defying gravity, they must be sooooo perfectly balanced, incroyable!
I haven't a clue how he does this!
This is truly amazing.

This I have not seen before. How does he do it? Looks impossible! Very impressive. Zounds!
Thanks for sharing. Hope your week is going well!
I admire the patience of those who create these. So amazing!
Had to comment again and tell you I’ve been entertaining myself all day looking at all of the videos on his site. He is awesome. THANK YOU again for posting this.
Mind boggling!!

I have seen this art-form done in OZ and in Scotland... it is just stunning and the stillness of the artists, I am certain, has much to do with it. Meditation given expression! YAM xx
What patience and skill, with running water no less !
I see you comment on many of the same blogs as I do so I thought I would pop over and say hello. This rock balancing is amazing.
These are great. You should have a look at some of the work of a Scottish sculpture called Andy Goldsworthy - he does stuff like this too - but I think he has been doing to for a long time.
