A Different Approach!

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people. I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem work itself out.

I changed my car horn to the sound of gun shots. People move out of the way much faster now.

You can tell a lot about a woman's mood just by her hands.
If they are holding a gun, she's probably angry.

Gone are the days when girls used to cook like their mothers. Now they drink like their fathers.

You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone?  That's common sense leaving your body.

I don't like making plans for the day because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around in the courtroom.

I didn't make it to the gym today. That makes five years in a row. 

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim.  I feel so much better saying I went to the jim this morning.

Paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers - BTW: if you
find one. what's your plan?

Sky Watch Friday!!

Time to share the beauty of your skies again!!  I'm always amazed by the beautiful skies of the northwest, whether Seattle or Portland, they are peaceful, they are dynamic and dramatic and they can be stormy!!  My skies for today are just peaceful and inviting -- at least for me they are!! Long Live Friendship!!

The zoo keepers found an old sick dog on the grounds in the
   park at the zoo where the orangutan lived and
took the dog to the animal treatment center.

The dog arrived at the same time the orangutan was there being
                         treated...

The 2 lost souls met and have been inseparable ever since.
The orangutan found a new reason to live and each always
        tries his best to be a good companion to his new found friend.
They are together 24 hours a day in all their activities.

They live in Northern California where
 swimming is their favorite past time,
Although Roscoe (the orangutan) is a little afraid of the water
and needs his friend's help to swim.

Together  they have discovered the joy and laughter in life and
                         the value of friendship.

They have found more than a friendly shoulder to lean on.

Long Live Friendship!

Even if they are a little hairy at times.

Our World!!

The Rose Festival was at it's best with sunshine and blue skies and I never tire of the gorgeous flowers! It was a little crowded  -- people here do love the rose garden!!   But I was there on Sunday, and while I didn't get as good pics as I would have liked to, it was still a FUN day!

The Worth of a Teddy Bear

Breeze and Buttons

    Hours after his birth, Breeze was found stumbling around by a farmer.  The new-born foal had been abandoned by his mother so the farmer took him to the Devon-based Mare and Foal Sanctuary where they cared for him. What happened next is  heart-warming.  

 

One of the staff put a four-foot giant Teddy Bear called Buttons  into the stall with Breeze.  The foal was instantly attracted to him.  He had found a comforting replacement for his mother. 

The two are inseparable. The caregivers  expect Breeze to be fine, thanks to the farmer who rescued  him and to those who cared enough to take this little Cutie in Special thanks to Buttons.
