ABC Wednesday -- H

Hi, Hello and welcome to ABC Wednesday! are you ready to celebrate H?
Happy is the heart that watches the hawk in the sky flying into the sunset over the harbor! Or to feel the wind in one's hair, or the brush of the hummingbird's wing.
Ah, if I were only a poet and could write Haiku!

What a great choice for the letter H. I have never seen
a hummingbird and am most envious of people who have these birds visit them :)

What a fantastic pic of the Hummingbird. You were really fast with your camera to catch that. The sunset with the red sky would really be a sailor's delight. Beautiful photo.

And happy is the photographer who manages to capture a hawk in a lovely sunset photo! I have hummingbird feeder outside my bedroom window but never grab my camera in time to get a good shot. They dart in then out again to the next tempting blossom. Yours is lovely.

Sylvia,

Nothing beats beautiful pics and inspiring thoughts. You nailed it my dear; no Haiku needed.

There is always something so special about sunset shots; to capture the hawk adds to it. Great shot!

You're a poet with your camera. And I particularly like your top picture of the breathtaking view of the water. Since I am new to your blog, it's all new to me.

I think you did very well with this combination. Gerald must be the man to see about Haiku!

PS Thank you for the pleasant comment!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
