Love one another, but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

The sky is always inspiring, as is Gibran. Loved the kitty pix, too.

That'll do me Sylvia. All young people should read that the night before they marry ... or partner!

They should turn that Gibran quote into an entire course for engaged couples. Why do so many of us equte love with ownership? Oh yes. Fear.

Such a beautiful quote and photo. Thanks for visiting my blog, and I'm very glad I found yours! The kitties did make me smile.

Wonderful post, Sylvia. I remember the day the volcano erupted, but learning about it from so far away is nothing like having ash fall all over town.

I guess I figured it affected the people of Washington and perhaps Oregon but it didn't occur to me that people living in Montana would also have ash fall on them.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
