Evening, Wisdom and Beauty
Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad. ~Norm Papernick
What a wonderful life I've had! I only wish I'd realized it sooner. ~Colette
People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates. ~Thomas Szasz,
You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself. ~Alan Alda
Never mind searching for who you are. Search for the person you aspire to be. ~Robert Brault,
If only we'd stop trying to be happy we could have a pretty good time. ~Edith Wharton
Late winter
of life,
Cloudy brain
plaques
fogging the brain;
I stand tall
and green
in the mist
In support
of those with
lost leaves....
Sometimes
I am alone,
sometimes
struggling with
others
on a woody slope
alzeimerishly....
A gust of wind
lifts the mist,
warm yellows
and browns of fall
decorating
the heights
of my mind....
And
the fence and lawn
resplendent
in shining dew,
appears familiar....
Memories flood back;
I am not alone.....

Hello Sylvia, what beautiful scenic views. Inspiring and relaxing. You are quite the photographer, you have for beauty!
Thank you for sharing! *hugs*
Oops, sorry, typo error: I meant, You have "eyes" for beauty.
Sylvia: You always provide such wonderful words and images with which to close a day. You must have a record (here in your blog) of all your favourite quotations. Wonderful - and thanks for sharing.

Great sky! And that mountain scene is spectacular! Did you have to hike a strenious hike to get that view?
Thank you for stopping by my playground. I appreciate it. I love these photos :) Well done :)
Quilt Works, no that is the Going to the Sun Highway in Glacier National Park and it is a gorgeous drive. There are places to hike and climb, of course, but this is just a very famous road through the middle of the park!

When one laughs unconditionally, they are vibrating in alignment to the higher self. One can hear one's personal chord being struck, and one laughs because they recongnize it as their truth. Truth can be funny when one recognizes themselves and remembers what they are. Its funny because of the fact that they forgot. Its a duh moment.
That last photo with brush stroke like lines reminds me almost of an abstract painting.
What a wonderful photos and quotes! Love reading them.

Just a moment to say hello and look forward to our daily visit.I'll be out of town and will check back with you in a week for another of your photographic and inspirational back rubs!
I'm stealing the first two. What wonderful words.
Always wonderful photos, but that last one of the mountainside is just breath-taking! And... nice quote from AA; what a nice surprise (not that I thought he wasn't deep!)
What a great post!! AN excellent way to start my day! Thanks!
I sometimes laugh on my own without a reason. I haven´t really figured out yet which one it fits from these options.
