ABC -- J!

Time to play with the ABCs

J is for Jamaican Rum! MMmmmmmmm!



And J is for Jambalaya! MMMmmmmm, again!!



And J is for James, my friend from Japan, who always brings me yummy Jam when he and Chiaki come to visit me in Seattle!





And all of these can be enjoyed even more under the Joshua tree!

This definitely is a joyous 'J' post, although I will confess that I'm more attracted to the jambalaya and jam than I am the Jamaican Rum.

My husband has really got into rum lately. He used to say he didn't much care for it ... until someone gave him some really nice, upmarket rum! LOL!

Love the Joshua Tree. Reminds me of getting lost in Arizona last year looking for the Joshua Tree park! We did see some, but they were very scraggy looking specimens. Your photo is gorgeous!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
