Hi Sylvia -- I've been catching up on about a week's worth of my favorite blogs because of computer problems; seeing all of your beautiful posts -- and all of your funny ones -- all at once makes me appreciate anew what good work you do so consistently.
(On most normal days (when our computer is working)you are there when I check the computer as I have my pre-breakfast coffee and again when I check in after dinner! Your posts never disappoint. Thanks again.

Favorite pic - 0472 I can't tell if I am looking at an underground river or a wave receding. It is most likely a wave but I would it love it to be an underground river – it is okay if you lie to me.

The Budda quote I only think is half right – Yes, what we think we become but no, the mind is not everything.
Nice Post - Thanks

I love all the quotes but especially the Buddha one. The older I get the more convinced I am that what we think, we become.

I realize that I know so little as time goes by. It was so much different 20 years ago when life was so much easier. The last cloud photo was made for this kind of evening thoughts.

I enjoyed all the sky photos, poetry, and daffodils in your Sky Watch post ... along with the lovely images and quotes here too .. especially the Alphonse Karr quote about thorns and roses. Is that a 'Just Joey' rose above the daisies and is that rhododendron or azalea in your header? Thanks so much for sharing ... and for visiting my blogs too. I always enjoy your uplifting posts and comments.
Hugs and blessings,

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
