Sky Watch Friday!

First of all I want to thank all of you so very much for sending your thoughts and prayers for my son, Adam. He is home and is doing better, hopefully he will be make a full recovery over the next few days.

...The wonderful blue sky with the airplanes is so inspiring....... GORGEOUS!!I traveled such a long time around the world.....these fading airplane "signs" remember great trips!!!

Sylvia, I love the poetry and the photographs. They go together so well. They are all fantastic but the second photograph is my favorite.

I'm sorry to read about what your son has been going through but so glad he's home and doing better. I'll be sending out good thoughts for Adam.

So beautiful Sylvia...good to know your son is on the mend. Nothing harder for a Mom than a sick child. My little girl spent several weeks in the hospital last winter...it was pretty awful for all of us. But she is well now.

"It is almost impossible to watch a sunset and not dream." - I think sunsets have a tendency to pull me into stillness; and for a while, I lose myself. It makes time stand still for me... but only for a little while :).

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
