Spring is beginning to show up quite early this year due to our very, very mild winter -- so different from most places here in the states as well as Europe. So I've just been running around lately with camera in hand. A couple of these are from last spring, but we'll be seeing them soon!
A hush is over everything, Silent as women wait for love; The world is waiting for the spring.
Sara Teasdale
Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!

Every spring is the only spring, a perpetual astonishment.
Ellis Peters
In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.
Mark Twain
Poor, dear, silly Spring, preparing her annual surprise!
Wallace Stevens
April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.

Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.

Spring is in the air that's for sure :) Love it :) Excellent photos :)
Spring has sprung with breath-taking beauty in your part of the world. Not so here yet. Gray skies, murky weather, yet it the temps are warming than usual for us this time of the year...which is why you don't really hear any of us around here complaining. Everything is melting and as long as we continue with the warm temps there is hope that we will soon be seeing something green peeking through the soil.
Thank you for sharing your spring!
Awww! Splendid color! I love the purple on the white picket trellis! That is a combination that will always grab my attention! And, that cloud formation is pure magic! Wow!
Correction...I looked at my favorite photo again and realized those flowers are hanging before a beautiful window...I thought on first glance that they were on a white trellis! Better get my glasses checked!
Beautiful spring flowers ... so colorful and cheery! Lovely sky view too. Glad it's warming up in your part of the world. I enjoyed the 'Leroy' and 'old broads' stories ... thanks for sharing both.
Hugs and blessings,
Small Reflections

Your spring blooms are beautiful, Sylvia. Its nice that spring has arrived early for you.
I hope your son is feeling better:)
Just found your blog through anothers. Is the header Snoqualmie Falls?
I lived out there for 3 years. Hubby and I laughed when everyone said we must go to S. Falls because it was so big and beautiful. We went there and it was beautiful but big? Nope.
We thought big is Niagra Falls. But we assumed they had never seen that before. We kept it a secret that we were from an area near by N. Falls.and went a lot and we just agreed that this was beautiful.
Thanks for the beautiful photo's.
Gorgeous photos!! I am so looking forward to spring!
Delightful!Have wonderful springtime!
Again, Sylvia, wonderful quotes to go with beautiful flowers! gorgeous shots!
Your spring is well ahead ahead of ours Sylvia but we have had a cold winter this side of the pond. I enjoyed seeing a glimpse of your early blossoms.
Wonderful welcome to the coming spring in your place. Colorful and beautiful flowers.
It'll be at least two months before I see blooms like yours here in New Hampshire and Vermont. I can't wait! You've got me all excited!
