ABC Wednesday - U!

And, yes, U is for Unicycle!

And after riding that for awhile you might be ready to play with a Unicorn!

By now you're probably be ready to relax on a comfy, newly Upholstered chair!

And the perfect words written by Ugich Konitari just for today!
Beautifully beige,
the fibers
stretched
to the full
in accomodation,
taking a deep breath,
Ms Chair nudges
the cushion,
itself
just recovered
from a Sylvian clutch,
as the lady sat,
feet on the
beige stool
tapping in beat
to
the Symphony.

"I thought
she'd never get up"
said Ms Chair
as she
looked piteously
at the stool
half hidden
by the shawl.
"The new fibres
are young,
and I need to
breathe a bit"

They
didnt notice
Mojo,
quietly listening,
behind the chair,
waiting for Sylvia
to return
with her
cup of coffee....

Glad you got Mclinky to work; I wonder if it was an extra space in the code.

My daughter has three unicorns (stuffed - upholstered?)
i don't DO unicycles, but I DO do upholstered chairs.

YES!

On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team (of which you are a valued part), THANK YOU!

I love unicorns and cycling too, but on a unicycle?? That is too much for a bicyclist. Your chair looks very inviting!

Your header is really a piece of art!

Me on a unicycle would be the ultimate in catastrophy!!
Delightful post and your friend made an awesome header for you.

YES Sylvia, YES! The poem offering was spectacular, as is the chair!

My step-brother used to ride a unicycle just about everywhere he went. I tried and tried and finally got tired of bouncing off the lawn. I guess I am not well-balanced. ;)

I love that chair and the poem you wrote to go with!

Yes! That upholstered chair looks so comfy, especially with that footstool in front of it. I could sit in it with a glass of wine (I promise I won't spill) and read a good book.

That chair looks so inviting and the unicycle is a lure, but I expect I'd simply fall to the right or left.

Enjoyed your words.

Oh, that was great fun!

We saw a man with a unicycle in our park in January. He'd had it for Christmas and was practising, in the snow and ice!!! We've never seen him again! LOL!

That is a very lovely chair, looks so comfy!

The bike? Too exhausting! The unicorn? Too unreal! But the sofa plus the poetry, exactly right!

I enjoyed the poem, and I sure do like that chair. The perfect spot for a lovely lady like you!

Your posts are always so fun! I saw a unicycle rider the other day in the city and I couldn't work up the nerve to ask for a picture. I wish I would have!

Wonderful header and I loved your choices for U - fascinated with Unicycles, but think I am past the best shelf date for riding one! Nice poem, too.

What a coincidence - two of my favourite pastimes:
Sitting down in a comfy chair;
Watching TV... :)

YES! And, utterly relaxing!

Is that really YOUR chair? And, I love the header that your friend from India made for you. I'll have to go it out.

Why is it that riding a unicycle only LOOKS easy. Wish I could do it!

When my son was at school one of his friends used regularly to ride a unicycle. Such wonderful balance . . .
I'd love to believe that Unicorns exist, like mermaids and fairies - Unfortunately they are Unlikely to be Unearthed other than in story books ;-/

I've been sitting for two months on a painful couch because I have a broken leg- if someone would just buy me that chair, I'd never grump again (about the couch that is) *grin. and I know another blogger who has a cat named Mojo! how fabulous.
I like your Unobtrusive (yay me) background music.

Lisa said...

Absolutely YES! If I tried to ride a unicycle, I'd need more than a comfy chair...probably a hospital bed! The poem is a lovely end to the post, coffee or no coffee!

Yes, yes, yes!!! That was fun! Great choice of U-words!
Best wishes,
