Smile, It's a Beautiful World!

I owe you all a huge apology for being so unthinking!! This photo was sent to me by a friend who had received it from someone else and it was just so amazing I wanted to share it with you and it never occurred to me at the time that anyone would think I could catch something this perfect, but I should have said so to begin with!  It is an amazing pic, and I'm not that good a photographer. I'm glad so many of you enjoyed it and thanks to whomever did take the pic -- there was no name associated with it.
Again, I do apologize.

Who said God didn't have a sense of humor?

Fabulous. I love it. And of course God has a sense of humor. We only have to watch for it, and wait for it, and be ready for it when it comes, like Sylvia and this photo.

You do yourself an injustice saying you could not have captured this photo, Sylvia. This one of course involved lucky timing, but your sky photos are equally stunning. Nonetheless, the humor here is funny and it's nice for me to end my day with a smile you gave me. Good night! ;-)

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
