Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

I think I've discovered the secret of life - you just hang around until you get used to it.
Charles M. Schulz

I have a simple philosophy: Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.
Alice Roosevelt Longworth

Those are gorgeous skies, Sylvia, and great quotes as always. I especially love the second shot, those clouds are extraordinary.

Magnificent sky! I always love to watch the sky and see the changes they make within minutes.

Yes, your photography is getting real good - we don't get clouds like these in Vegas.

Charles Shulz and Garrison Keillor, giving Mark Twain a run for his money. Great philosophy, beautiful skies. I love that top one.

Once I got past 35 it all became so much easier. Getting used to it is indeed the key.

Sylvia, I think you have some magical powers over the sky. It sure does wonderful things for you to capture. That second one is SO different!

Fabulous Sylvia. That first quote is sort of good for those of us "of a certain age." Guess we've had time to get used to it by now eh?

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
