I've learned that, no matter what happens, how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things:
A rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.
I've learned that making a 'living' is not the same thing as making a 'life..'
I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need d to be able to throw something back sometimes.
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you
But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others,
Your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you
I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.
People love that human touch -- holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

Important lessons here. Now what did I do with those tangled Christmas Tree lights?
What a timely reminder to put our lives back in perspective... love the snowflakes!
I was feeling a teeny bit down because of some little things going on over here. Your post made me sit up and shake myself. Thank you for the reminder of what is truly important.
If we had learned all there is for us to learn, we would no longer be here. So heres to learning!
Glorious photo Sylvia. Have you got anything else uo your sleeve for SkyWatch?
Lovely photo, and some very great truths! That last one about having a lot to learn is something we all need to remember.
Have a wonderful day!

That's a great post. Very wise words. I learn something new every day. It's usually about my abilities as a parent.

Gorgeous photo, Sylvia, but as Costas pointed out, that goes without saying.
And good words to live by.

Sylvia, beautiful photo of the sunset and very wise words to live by -- thank you!
thanks for sharing. :)
Both picture and verse are perfect reminders of what's really important at the end of the day! Thanks.
Sadly, too often people read the words, grasp the wisdom, then fail to live by them. I just bet you live by this, Sylvia: an open heart. Your photo is stunning.
Thanks for sharing the wisdom you've learned with us. These are true words of wisdom.
