As you can probably tell from the photo top right, I've found some photo software to play with. Hopefully, I'll actually learn how to make the most of it, but it has been fun! |
I miss you Sam!!

I always adore your shadow shot collection Sylvia.
My Shadows
Great shadowy collage, Sylvia. The lamp is my favorite of this set. I hope your weekend is off to a great start!
I like those coloured shadows...
Your living quarters are lovely, as always in substance and shadow. The top right photo is perfect for a Christmas holiday card, the shadow inside the living room a perfect card for the season. Always nice shadows!
Looks like we might get a reprieve from the rain this morning. I'm plannig to get out for a walk before the Seahawks game this afternoon. Love the colored glass shadows!
I always love the color shadows
and I really love the lamp shade
it's like frosty lace plus nice effects
Hope sends hugs
Thank you for visiting! Your collection in this collage is very nice. I love the coloured bottles.
Wow Sylvia, you've got some great shadows here. I think the top left is my fave. And getting creative with editing software is a blast. Have fun! Happy SSS!
You reached into your archive as did I. You'd feel right at home here in the central valley, we are well into our normal six to eight weeks of low clouds and fog.
I love my editing software (elements). Sometimes it is just a little tweeking of the contrast and crop and sometimes I play with artistic effects and overlays like you used here.
Barren window-tree,
surely you remember me—
I’ve been here before.
Beyond the Walls
Lovely shots! Good luck with the editing software - I've yet to get to grips with ours ;-)
What wonderful --and successful experiments, Sylvia.
So glad I stopped by today.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hi Sylvia - of course the coloured bottles are my favourite!! It has been snowing again - I am thoroughly fed up with it!! Regards Anne
Sylvia, you seem to be experimenting. That is because you look at life with brightness. Remember, when it is completely dark, there is no shadow.
lovely selection of shadows! I particularly like the cafetiere!
Another excellent set--I especially love the table with the colored shadows. Have a great weekend, Sylvia!
I think you'll enjoy the software, Sylvia! I love your shadows again this week.
Sylvia I think I have forgotten to say how much I like your header pictures, your friend is very creative ! .. I am in love with the coloured glass reflections of course : ) and that lampshade has really grabbed me as well (I need a new one for the living room and yo have reminded me of it !)
Joy : : )
The coffee press shadow is pretty cool and I like the lampshade shadow too!
Terrific collage, Sylvia. I really like the photo you manipulated with the new software. Do you mind, what program did you use?
lovely selection - I especially like the one of the coloured glass on the table cloth.......
The ShadowShot in the lower left is very interesting Sylvia. I'm still not sure how you did that!
Happy SSS to you.
ps-Your buddy in India sure does gift you with very cool pictures too~~~They remind me of (more)intricate etch-a-sketch drawings.
Great shots Sylvia. I always love your Shadow Shot collages.
Very clever shadow shots, Sylvia. Have a wonderful, if cold, weekend!
I love your collage of photos for Shadow Sunday! Very creative and nice pictures with great interesting shadows too.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I look forward to more great stuff on your blog,
julie
You've outdone yourself, Sylvia. These are utterly gorgeous. I so love the white lampshade and shadows. Makes me want to curl up and read a book right there.
Beautiful shots Sylvia and I love how you have done your page with the snowflakes and header. Your friend is sure one talented person.
Lovely photos Sylvia! I am intrigued by shadows...they are pretty cool in their own right :)

What a lovely assotment of shadows! Love the array of coloured glass shadows! Hope you're having a great weekend!
I love the photo of the bottle shadows on the tablecloth! So neat!
Looks like picnik? My favorite software for quick and easy and cool fun! Love all the shots and the glass indulgence!
Hope it's warm and dry where you are.
I love playing with my photos but really do not know much about editing yet. Yours are great and I love your collage.
These are so pretty! And I love what you did with the top right hand corner photo! Very creative! Enjoy your week ahead Sylvia :)
I can usually pick a favorite from your shots, but this week I can't. I do have it narrowed down to three!
: )
Ooh, these are lovely shots! I especially like the shadows on the tabletop, it's a gorgeous image!
Nice collection of shots...
You have rain and Helsinki has more than enough snow...
You keep yourself very busy with your camera to be sure. I like the collage of shadows, I especially like the lampshade!!

Have a great Sunday.
wonderful Shadows Sylvia...as always, I especially love the colorful ones!
great shot and amazing collage .
The queen of creative photography reigns again.
I found some photography classes that are promising, don't require an SLR camera, and involve field trips. So I'm pretty excited.
Great choices Sylvia! I'm always fascinated by the colored ones :) Hope you're having a nice Sunday!
What lovely shadows! I really love the shadows of the glass vases and their beautiful colors! Thanks for visiting me.
Ahhh ha! I spy that Christmas cactus Sylvia :) Love those large shadows of your colored glass...they take up that entire table ~ what fun! Hope you are having a lovely start to the New Year! See you next week!
Boy am I late stopping by, but when one has the opportunity to go antiquing, one must fly out the door before the 2-4 inches predicted arrives...that's the way it works...right!!!
Have a great week Sylvia!!!
Have fun with your new software. Your shadow mosaic is as beautiful as ever.
Nice collage.
Back to the files, indeed.
Mine is from April, '09.
Thanks for the visit.
Cheers!

Another delightful collage.
Have a good week, Boonie
I like you lace-framed photo! I have a couple of progams like that, but it's hard to sit down and learn something new.
