Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!! Oh, yes! More rain!! So, back to the photo files! Hope everyone has had a great week and wishing you an even better weekend. Stay warm, and dry and find lots of reasons to laugh and to smile!!

As you can probably tell from the photo top right, I've found some photo software to play with. Hopefully, I'll actually learn how to make the most of it, but it has been fun!

I like those coloured shadows...

Your living quarters are lovely, as always in substance and shadow. The top right photo is perfect for a Christmas holiday card, the shadow inside the living room a perfect card for the season. Always nice shadows!

Looks like we might get a reprieve from the rain this morning. I'm plannig to get out for a walk before the Seahawks game this afternoon. Love the colored glass shadows!

Wow Sylvia, you've got some great shadows here. I think the top left is my fave. And getting creative with editing software is a blast. Have fun! Happy SSS!

You reached into your archive as did I. You'd feel right at home here in the central valley, we are well into our normal six to eight weeks of low clouds and fog.
I love my editing software (elements). Sometimes it is just a little tweeking of the contrast and crop and sometimes I play with artistic effects and overlays like you used here.

Sylvia, you seem to be experimenting. That is because you look at life with brightness. Remember, when it is completely dark, there is no shadow.

The queen of creative photography reigns again.

I found some photography classes that are promising, don't require an SLR camera, and involve field trips. So I'm pretty excited.

Boy am I late stopping by, but when one has the opportunity to go antiquing, one must fly out the door before the 2-4 inches predicted arrives...that's the way it works...right!!!

Have a great week Sylvia!!!
