Sky Watch Friday!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren and me. Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week! Click on the post title to be taken to the SWF website where you can sign up. We've had a little of everything, as usual, I took these a couple of nights ago over a period of about 15 minutes! First a vapor trail following the jet by the moon, subtle change and then curly remainders of the trail, and the gradually changing skies as the sun went down. It was, as always, awesome! Hope you enjoy!

All you need is ignorance and confidence and the success is sure.
Mark Twain

Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.
Mark Twain
Blessed are the hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken.
Albert Camus
And from my friend in Mumbai!!

The shy sky bride,
emerging
from a
quiet,
dark,
cold
winter trip
from her maternal
home;
her hair,
studded
with silver
flakes and drops
cold
but shining
as the sun slowly emerges
in the blue,
now at her new marital home....

The in-laws
offer
amazing warmth,
a mild sun,
fluffy clouds,
an aroma of flowers,
and
a special piece
of modern jewelery ....

A Charm bracelet
offered by
jets,
flying
in welcome formation,
in honor of
the new bride....

I'm glad you were able to get such wonderful pictures over a relatively short time period. The third photo is amazing.
We had an unexpected opportunity to visit with friends in the mountains of North Carolina, so that's why we were away for a couple of days. It's good to be back home.

Contrails are always good but these are great. It's funny to think that 100 years ago no-one would have ever seen these. The skies without a trail now are just plain weird! xo

I wonder how the pattern in the third picture formed in the sky! The first quote by Mark Twain applies to most of our leaders.

Really like the picture where the con trails are starting to break up. Makes you wonder what type of air currents are happening up there.

Wow, what a great collection of vapor trails. I really like the curly pattern. One of them seems like a guitar. I also liked the strongly cross hatched pattern.

The quote from Twain about how ignorance and confidence will result in success. It made me laugh.
