ABC Wednesday - J!

Got your dictionary out? You ready to play with the letters? It's that time again! ABC Wednesday is hosted by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt and the ABC team: Denise, Annelie, Leslie, Nathalie, Joyce, Donna, Helen, Roger, Troy, Jay, Barb, Gattina and me! And guess what? It's that day again!
It's the J Day! Jump into my Jeep for the Journey -- no Jaywalking -- but let's Join the fun under the Jacaranda trees. We can play with the Jackrabbits and even the Jaguars and eat lots of Jambalaya while we enjoy the Jamboree! Oh, and bring your favorite Jam and Jelly for breakfast. Put on your best Jewelry and be ready to dance a Jolly Jig by the Jukebox! I'm Just being much too Juvenile today! Lets get get on with the Jolly J Day, I can dance a Jig tomorrow! And here are my J  Words for the day! J is for Jam and Jelly, Jeep, Jewelry, Jalapenos and Jar!
Things are busy here in Seattle as I prepare to move into my new home!! I'm very excited, but it can be nerve wracking at the same time.  I ran around the house, camera in hand, looking for J words before I went back to my moving agenda, so forgive my lack of creativity! At least I didn't call on -- well, you know who!! Hope you all have a fun day!

Ah you are moving house! That's why there is a moving van in your header. Take care, moving house is always nervewrecking! I also like to thank you for your kind words. You are one of the reasons that we keep going on blogging. You know something? Yesterday I met Kay D. from Canada near the windmills. We sat outside the souvenir shop, having coffee ,enjoying the
warm sunny weather. She and her husband were on a tour through the Netherlands. It was great!
Have a great week and take care.

Best wishes on your move! You sound so happy about it, so I'm glad it's a good move for you.

Sylvia, I am often not able to comment because of your embedded comments format. From my home computer, for some reason but not from my work computer. I don't have much free time at work to comment, so forgive me for only doing so occasionally.

You and I are fbook friends, so if you want to see more photos of the girls, please feel free to!

I would never accuse you of having a lack of creativity. You've come up with another great alphabet post as usual. Actually, I'm very impressed that you posted this when in the midst of moving.

How exciting, a new home. I just got off the phone with our youngest daughter, and her good news was the house they wanted went through, and move in date is "Good Friday" April 22!! She is very excited too.

Love all your J's but I'm especially partial to Jellies and Jams and love that little jar. Better go make some toast and Tea...Pass the jam please.!!

Your collage is wonderfully edible. You have multi-tasked to perfection. Hope the move goes well, the virtual move in your header looks fun, so hopefully the good vibes will make the real move run smoothly.

I think the hardest part of moving is deciding what is worth moving and what needs to be gotten rid of. I hope you do better with that than I do.

Great choices for J, Sylvia! Isn't it funny that jalapeneo has the "h" sound instead of the usual "j"?

Lots of J words again. You're so creative Sylvia.

Happy ABC Wed.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
