Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

Trust that little voice in your head that says 'Wouldn't it be interesting if...'; And then do it.
Duane Michals
To imagine is everything, to know is nothing at all.
Anatole France

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.

Lovely photos, Sylvia, and great quotes as usual! I must admit to being partial to Dr. Seuss...I too think the world needs a dose of silliness every now and then...:)

I love the header and the words by your friend.
Your photos are wonderful, as always, Sylvia, although I have to like the last one best!

I really like that first quote -- and all of your beautiful pictures. I especially like the waterfall, but I guess that is no surprise.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
