ABC Wednesday - X!

Got your dictionary out? You ready to play with the letters? It's that time again! ABC Wednesday is hosted by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt and the ABC team: Denise, Annelie, Leslie, Nathalie, Joyce, Donna, Helen, Roger, Troy, Jay, Barb, Gattina and me! And guess what? It's that day again!  It's ABC Wednesday!!
X marks the spot!! It's not Xmas but it is the X Day!!  I don't come from Xanadu, but I do play the Xylophone! Alright, alright, so I had to let Sir Google help out a little!! What can I say??? I was desperate for an X pic!!!

Hope you all have an Xciting Day -- Yep, can't spell either!!

I can't believe I made it this early to be your second comment. Guy, I must be living right! haha

What a stunning poster for X. I got lucky this time and found two good ones.

Loving your banner! What fun to see all the different ones your friend comes up with.

I had to resort to the same Google picture, Sylvia. Sometimes X just doesn't mark the spot, or at last I can't find it. LOL

Well I'm always for "stately pleasure domes" and it looks from that poster its a word that doesn't have to be translated. The X words are very elusive:-)

Ummmm, how about Xanadu?

Um, how about X-ray...I hope I don't need one anytime soon :)

The X is a very interesting but extremely difficult letter! And I think you are all very intelligent people to find an appropriate word!
Have a great week, Sylvia!

I had an X-citing day today. My four little neighbor girls (ages 5, 7, and 11) and I had a Tea Party this afternoon. What fun that was.

Have a great evening, and thanks for the visit.

Your big red X made me think of kisses, Sylvia, - but Xanadu was a wonderful choice for X.

Sylvia, you came through with a big "X" for the day which I knew you would! It made me think perhaps "eXit" but that would be hard in Paris as there is no "X" in "sortie" - hahaha!

Enjoy your day, sweet friend!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
