Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the web address under the blog title and sign up to play with us!

I do hope you've all had a great week -- in spite of the disgusting politics and politicians! No, I won't go there!! This is the beginning of another summer weekend! Time for lots of laughter, fun and photo trips! Enjoy!!

Beautiful mix of skies and reflections!

Great reflections! The sun looks like it's trying to burn a hole in the water and I love the view and reflected flowers in the bottom one but the lighting and shadows make the middle photo my favorite.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love your reflections! I think the image of the chair is so inviting and comfy looking.

New Header....wonderful. Now to your shots. The second one with the green leather chair has to be my pick this week thought the other are wonderful. It looks like the dream chair. Absolutely love the lighting in that shot. Finally the quotes. I enjoy your selection because they are so relevant to the deplorable situation our country is in right now. It is frightening. I really do look forward to reading them each week. Have a nice weekend...hope it is cooler there than here. Genie

well fun new header!!! that sunset shot is magnificent - those clouds. the moodiness of the chair in shadow is wonderful, and in that last shot I not only love the view/reflections, but I see that favorite red vase that makes many of your shots! I hope you have a joyful weekend Sylvia!!!

Sylvia, I'm not American, but I'm almost holding my breath to see how this fiasco turns out... But as you say, onwards with the fun. And your header is MAJOR FUN, and so are your quotes and images... :-)

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
