Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

It's been a really fun week -- even though I got still one more year older!!! on Thursday! My son, Adam and his dog, the beautiful Mojo, came to get Sam and I to go play at the beach, take photos and have a wonderful dinner at my favorite restaurant!! And here they are!!

Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.

The Beach Dog looks completely satisfied with himself--and completely soaked!

Sing a song of shadows
Dancing in the sun!

Ah, Syvia, the reflections and shadows, though wonderful, just don't hold a candle to your and your son's beautiful smiles! And once more, a header fit for a Queen of the Hill!

Aside from food, the quickest way into a dog's heart is allowing them to romp at the beach, the soft sand and cool water the place to play! Naturally, if the dog is happy, so is the owner. Your smile is confirmation of that!

Well, I must wish you a belated happy birthday, and, probably also belated, congratulations on your blog award!

Love the two portraits of you with your son in this post & the last; how wonderful it is to spend time with our children!

You are SO funny, Sylvia. That last shot, of Adam and you, is full of life and energy. (And the Branch Rickey quote is unfortunately probably true . . . I decline to report where I am along the continuum.)
