That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?

It has been a wonderful week!! And as you can see if you scroll down, it's not just a birthday, but a "birth week"!! My four kids from here and everywhere else over the country  made it  a really wonderful week. So, here is a collage of celebration!! Now just who but a blooming idiot would have this much fun in celebrating turning 78!! What can I say?? I'm obviously a blooming idiot -- but a very happy one! Wishing each of you a wonderful week!

Into the house where joy lives, happiness will gladly come.

Wow … I would never have guessed you were of the age you celebrate. You are young at heart, that’s for sure!!! How wonderful it is that your entire clan is well and can gather for such a special occasion. They are fortunate to come from such excellent stock. Blooming good genes, indeed!

What a wonderful collage. I'm glad you had a great week of celebration. The only thing I can argue with is that 'blooming idiot' comment.

This is really a beautiful collage. I have just experienced a bit of frustration with some contractors here, so your quote is helpful. I'll bet my bearings again and get a grip on the joy!

Belated happy birthday to you, Sylvia! I've never thought that you are that age, you really think and look much much much younger. How fortunate I am to be a part of your world.

The collage looks a condensation of your happy home. Stay cool, beautiful, and alive and kicking.

Nice montage of pictures.

Thought that a few people may get a little green eyed over the whales - it was rather splendid. Even my car mad son has a picture on his wall!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
