Evening Wisdom and Beauty

Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.

George Bernard Shaw

The best portion of a good man's life is the little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.

Age is no barrier. It's a limitation you put on your mind.

How true, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.

Lovely shots and great quotes, Sylvia. I especially love that lone red leaf, that's not a color I see too often around here. Socks says hi, and he didn't like that snow!

That fallen leaf is gorgeous. The quote accompanying it is so apt! Thanks for the lovely beginning for a working Monday!

Sylvia, Your quotes are always worth "tucking away" in the back of our minds. Such wise words that we need to listen to and strive to do. Thank you, my friend. Have a lovely week. Mickie :)

I love the top photograph. The winding contrail fits the quote perfectly.

I love the last photo and quote for the same reason. Perfect fit.

I hope that you had a good weekend. Our was fun but hectic. Taxes are due this week, geocaching campout for Logan and I next weekend, and some heavy duty work stuff this week for me. I'll be looking forward to the weekend.

Take care Sylvia!!

While your sky pictures are as beautiful as ever, I really like that gorgeous leaf. I also like your last quote very much.

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
