It's been a good week and I got to make a trip to Snoqualmie  Falls! The colors everywhere are so fantastic that even a walk with Sam Schnauzer or to the store can take your breath away with such beautiful colors! You can see a sample in the leaves that I brought home! And then the end of the day yesterday was so unbelievable, as you will see in the last photo!  It was taken from the roof of my apartment building!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Autumn burned brightly, a running flame through the mountains, a torch flung to the trees.
Faith Baldwin

Every leaf speaks bliss to me,
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
Emily Bronte

October is a symphony of permanence and change.
Bonaro W. Overstreet

Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.Stanley Horowitz

Autumn, the year's last, loveliest smile.

The Smokies have nothing on the color you found. That tree is gorgeous, as is the sunset. I would love to visit that beautiful waterfall.

Autumn does produce some of the most stunning sunsets in the northwest region. How fortunate you are to have such a view from your very own apartment building. Bringing home leaves is something I love to do. I remember putting them in scrapbooks and even arranging them as art behind glass. The spectacular colors tend fade over time but stay firmly as memories in my mind.

Wow! This is breathtakingly lovely. I shall post my autumn photos tomorrow if I can just get my act together.

The drama is so intense. Trees redder than red, and bigger than big. That waterfall so vigorous, unlike any that I've ever seen. Certainly more memorable and picturesque than Niagara. What a place you live in.

Stunning pics Sylvia and I like that little bit about "Spring is a watercolour" because that's exactly what it's like in my corner of the world.
Thanks for putting the time zone fo "Our World Tuesday" up Sylvia because I'm always confused as to what time we can post our pics from here in Australia.

Your photos are brilliant!! That rich red colour of the first photo is fantastic!
I tried to enter my post, but I don't see where it can be done. There is no possibility as far as I see.

How do you find the time to capture all of these wonderful images week after week. You are just the best. The colors this week are stunning...so autumn looking. And the trees of the pacific Northwest are just to die for. What a gorgeous part of our country. Loved seeing the waterfall. I have now seen one this fall, but I am sure it won;t be much longer before we return to all of our usual winter haunts. Take care. genie

That waterfall just draws you in and nothing could be redder than the maple tree and those darling little gourds amongst the leaves, enchanting - and to finish off, a sunset to bring out all the little trick and treaters.

A very Happy Halloween my dear.
