Our World Tuesday!!

Time for "Our World" again! This is a wonderful way to find the beauty, the fun, the good and even the bad things about Our World and to share them! Hope you will join us! Click on the link  to go to the Our World site and sign up!!

One of the things I love most about being a part of Our World is that each week it gives me the opportunity to realize how blessed I am to be surrounded by so much beauty and so many good things!
Well,  this hasn't been one of my better weeks, but if you take the time to look around the chances are good that you'll see something that will take your breath away or make you smile. I did and it works!! So, I thought I'd share some of it with you today.

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.
Rabindranath Tagore

True happiness is... to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon
the future.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca

I actually caught this one a couple of years ago when we had an unusual amount of snow for Seattle.  This is truly a pissed off seagull! But he did then and did today -- make me smile!

If it were not for hopes, the heart would break.

Merry Christmas week, Sylvia! I hope you and yours are doing well. Wondering how your children's Dad is doing, praying for them all... Strength and love and peace to all!

I wish you and your family a very happy Christmas week, hoping that you all are in good health, and not shivering from the cold like the little seagull in one of your photos.

Such beautiful scenery! Love the snowy mountains but your peeved gull and his ruffled snowy feathers is just brilliant! And love Tagore's beautiful quote about clouds!

The gull is hilarious. Great shots from your beautiful world. There is so much in nature to make us smile, and that helps me too during stressful times.

I can´t help but feeling sorry for that gull. It looks so cold. :)

Have a nice and warm week Sylva. :)

Makes one long to be a bird entering your photography, while flying towards the mountains of your first picture, which is just wonderful.
Please have a good Tuesday.

That seagull is really disgruntled! Sylvia, I am missing many of your posts which I love to go through, because the blogger is messing it all up. I hope it will be settled soon.

Hello Sylvia, may you be fully blessed this Christmas Season, full health, wishes, happiness, contentment, peace, etc! That sounds really all. Your 2 photos look like the views from our hotel in Antalya, Turkey, across the Mediterranean. It is so awesome for me as that was my first time to see ice caps. I posted Turkey today, related to Father Christmas. Thank you.

That's a beautiful world, Sylvia, and I have to say that the seagull does not look happy. I hope your weeks get better soon, although I know you've got some difficult times. Socks says hi to Sam!

How's your sons' dad? Getting better?

Awww … poor seagull is probably unsure about where the cold stuff is coming from. I wonder if it is still around somewhere today enjoying warmer weather. Hope so.

Thank you, Ann, for your visit/comment/ and inquiry concerning the kids Dad. Unfortunately, he has been given a very short time to live. It's going to be a sad Christmas for all of us.

I am so sorry about your week my dear. I do hope really nice things happen for you over Christmas and things generally start looking up.

I tried to leave a comment this morning but the box refused to co-operate. Now I am bushed after a day's shopping for presents . . . what a day!

Have a very Happy Christmas, enjoy every minute!
