Our World Tuesday!!

And a snowy world it is today and more on the way! It is cold, but it's so beautiful to sit here at my desk and watch the snow falling, covering the trees and roofs. It looks as though it's giving my world a snowy bath!

Affection is responsible for nine-tenths of whatever solid and durable
happiness there is in our lives.  C. S. Lewis

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming
gardeners who make our souls blossom.  Marcel Proust

And consequently, that is why I'm grateful to all of you! You have indeed made my soul blossom!!  Thank you!

When viewed through your window, Sylvia, the snow becomes a magic carpet of wintry white. Thanks for sharing the bright side of the lovely but slippery flakes that have hit both our parts of the world. :)

Simply beautiful, Sylvia! We had a downpour of sleet last night then the sky cleared and the temp plummeted into the 20s. Woke up to ice everywhere. Stay warm!

Great collage of these snowy shots, Sylvia. We almost never get snow in Melbourne and we have to drive quite a distance away tot he mountains to enjoy it, so i always like snow shots!

I went to a bird sanctuary and thought of you when I tried to take bird photos.

So glad, I don't have snow now.

a little snow is OK. It makes for some nice shot like yours. But I think that is enough. :)

Love your snowy bath! The trees on the bottom left look as if they are part of fairyland! And the tree on the bottom right looks wild!

That is indeed a beautiful world, Sylvia, and wonderful shots of it. As you know, I love snow. I bet Sam isn't begging to go out today!

I love the way your snowy collage turned out. I can never get my pictures to fit just right when I try to make this style. So you are having snow. That is nice. We are still waiting. It is pouring rain tonight, but it’s OK. We are warm and toasty here in the old house. I just can;t say enough good things about your post and quote today. They are both outstanding. genie

I am so envious of your magical world of snow, it looks glorious.

We don't get snow where I live so it is always so nice to see it through other people eyes.

Be careful out there! Nasty weather and very un-Seattle-like. (Bring back the rain). But your pictures are stunning.
