I always enjoy your images from the Pacific Northwest and the thought provoking quotes you find for us.

The quotes you find are always so inspirational. And I see you have sunsets and ducks today, and rippling waters. That's a good thing....you'll see why.

I appreciate all your quotes about happiness. I don't think I can pick a favorite. I can't pick a favorite picture, either. All of them are grand.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I could sit by all three beautiful reflections and be as happy as a pig in mud.

Have a delightful weekend Sylvia.
Hugs and smiles,
Pam :)

Beautiful images again this week. I really like the last one. It reminds me of the swampy waters back at Lake Okeechobee. Wonder where the haters are???genie

Yes, no doubt precious photos. Today I prefer the latter and the nice reflections of the tree. Greetings.

Gorgeous pictures. I have my own take on that one saying: "The happiest bloggers don't worry about whether our pictures are as good as Sylvia's. We just get on with it (and post our own feeble efforts ;>)!" You are SO good.

Nice reflections and I love the Matthews quote - I recite something similar to my kids all the time.

Pretty, Sylvia. The sun in the middle image really catches the eye.

The pictures are all so wonderful. The last quote is very valid for present times. We should cultivate the art of having pleasant thoughts every second. I hope you have a pleasant weekend!

Love that first photo a bunch. Love the quotes. We just have to figure out a way to be happy in this world don't we. It rarely involves big cars, houses, and such.

Sylvia, I think there is a special magnet on your camera that finds the ducks and turtles! Yay for us! You too have a lovely weekend!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
