Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

God puts rainbows in the clouds so that each of us - in the dreariest and most dreaded moments - can see a possibility of hope.  Maya Angelou

My daughter Kerith has breast cancer surgery tomorrow.  Thank you for holding good thoughts for her.

Wonderful shots, Sylvia. The second is my fave.

I am sending positive thoughts to you and wishing that all goes well with your daughter's surgery. So many advances have been made in breast cancer treatment in the last few years, so I am trusting that she will be cured...

I'm sure she'll be okay. It is great to be living in these times with such amazing technology. She has good docs and a good hospital from what you've said. Lucky she isn't living in so many other places in the world.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
