Shadow Shot Sunday!

Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we
think of it; the tree is the real thing.

Beware lest you lose the substance by grasping at the shadow.

I like Honest Abe's definition of reputation vs. character. Pretty shadow photos, too.

The fence can keep most things out - except the flowery shadows! I like the candle holder in green, it leaves a shadow perfect for Spring, as the green shadow seem to be sprouting too!

The roses trail beautifully over the fence. Their shadows allude to a lovely day in their midst.
The sunlight on the green glass is so welcoming as I sit and look out my window at the dull gray sky that will soon bring rain.
Lovely shots Sylvia and music too!

Fantastic shadow shots! Lovely trailing roses and apt quotes! Love the Aesop quote...that shadow actually got my attention rather than the object itself.:)

That header just took my breath away! The roses are in full bloom where I live and these are a beautiful color of peach and pink. I hope that you have a lovely weekend with some sun, mon amie!

"Oh goodie".....Sylvia stopped by already today to view my shadow shot!!! You know me...I've said it a good many times....I LOVE to view your shadows, so close to perfection, each and every time. That turquoise colored glass even casts a shadow of the same color. Superb.

Hope your weekend is treating you well so far, have a good week ahead, and see you next time.

I somehow lost the shadow for the rose yet reached for the shadow of the glass. Nice shots Sylvia.

Wow, the first shot is absolutely amazing! The flowers are beautiful and their shadows are so clearly projected on the wall. The green glass in the second shot is creating a lovely colored shadow, very nice.
Happy Sunday!
