Sky Watch Friday!

There is not a particle of life which does not bear poetry within it.   Gustave Flaubert

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by  the Sky Watch team of  Sandy and I. And this week as every week, we remember Klaus and know that he joins us in spirit! Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week!

It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.  F. Scott Fitzgerald
As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.
 Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Lovely to see the clouds with their white lining just above the trees. Can you believe it's almost the weekend again Sylvia, it's a little scary the way time is flying by.

As ever I enjoy the colourful photos of your skies! Thanks for your visit. I added the song of Pete Seeger which was sung today by a great Norwegian crowd outside the prison where Anders Breivik is, as a protest to what he has done.
Have a wonderful SWF!

Lovely shots and amazing quotes. What a contrast in quoters. Flaubert never left his mother's side and Goethe was the most versatile self confident person of his generation.

Very wise words by Gustave Faubert and stunning captures by Sylvia .... I'm reading Madame Bovary at the moment and loving it ... Gustave certainly had a way with words.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
