I'm glad there aren't TOO many shadows on the tulips and grape hyacinths. They are lovely in the brilliant sunshine!
Seeking Clarity—and Shadows
Today the flowers take center stage, their shadows just an accent. Lovely Sylvia.
I LOVE the wonderful burst of color in your photos today, Sylvia!!
Wow!! Terrific Miss Sylvia!!
The tulips in the half-barrel are simply gorgeous, though all of your pictures are wonderful. I like the quotes as well. I hope you're having a great weekend.
Life in the shadows - or the shadows of life? :-)
Lovely shots and captions....
Beautiful color! I would love to have that barrel of tulips on my patio. :)
The flowering plants have the nicest shades of pastel, the shadows following the shapes of the beauties above. The leafy shadows fall upon your deck - even without seeing the subject, the shadows suggest a full tree with lots of foliage already. Spring has indeed sprung here!
Gorgeous blooms!
The flowers are very nice
The purple flower bed is glorious as are the barrels of flowers! And the last photo is like flowering shadows! Beautiful!
I'm having spring flower envy!
i love the shadows in the last. :)
Beautiful photos, exquisite flowers, beautiful garden with delightful colors. A hug and a happy weekend.
Oh my, Sylvia! Are those your tulips? How beautiful they are! Excellent shadow shots and I too, am glad they are little shadows.

i also love the shadow shot.
hope you're having a great weekend!
big hugs!
What lovely flowers, Sylvia. Don't worry, your comments don't disappear from my blog - I have comment moderation on so I have to approve all comments before they show up. Otherwise I get a lot of spam, some days there's more spam than real comments, and they often link to rather offensive sites. Socks says hi, and wishes he could see Sam!
The colors of these flowers are out of this world. They are so vivid. The third shot without any flowers is very striking. It makes me wonder exactly what plant it belongs to. You always give us such wonderful pictures.genie
These are wonderful! Sylvia, you always make my Saturdays.
I love those.
Hope you'd come by and see my Shadows. Enjoy your weekend!
