Oh Sam, how frustrating. I hope the sun pops out soon and you get a good walk. Purrs from the Tanzanian cats, Ginger, Shadow and Ambrose.

When it was raining, our cat first went to the front door and looked outside. He didn't like the rain so he w ent to the backdoor in order to be let out, but he saw that it also rained there. Pets are the best friends we can have, and the funniest too!
Have a great week, dear Sylvia!

We could use some rain here, so if Sam can arrange it I'll trade him some of our sunshine for some of his rain.

As George said, Sylvia, we are lacking in rain now... BUT--the sunshine feels good since I've been outside Power-washing the deck!!!! fun fun...

Oh, Sam, it sounds pretty miserable alright. I wouldn't like it, and neither would Lindy.
We had mixed rain and snow last week. No fun at all.

Oh poor Sam, the sun will be there soon enough! He really does have the most expressive face Sylvia.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
