Sorry to hear that the May Day demonstrations in Seattle were violent and unruly. I guess there are many more disaffected and desperate people in the USA now and that was their way of reacting against what they see as social injustice. However violence never did anybody any good...

I kept watching the sky today for signs of a let up in the rain so I could go for a walk, but it never happened. :-(
