Don't Mess with Seniors or Texas Women!

An elderly man was stopped by the police around 2 a.m. The policeman asked him where he was going at that time of night.

The man replied, "I' m on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late."

The officer then asked, "Really? Who's giving that lecture at this time of night?"

The man replied, "That would be my lovely wife Janice."

Oh, and don't forget those Texas gals!!

One last thought for the day!
Remember: Senior  Citizens Are  Valuable!

We  are more valuable than  any of the younger  generations.

We  have silver  in  our  hair.
We  have gold  in  our  teeth.

We  have stones  in  our  kidneys.
We  have lead  in  our feet  and,

We  are loaded with  natural   gas!

You must be a hoot to live with ... does all of this humor come out of your head or do you have a knack for finding good resources, or is it both. Whatever it is, I love it. I come here for my daily smile and end up LOL. Love it!

I always knew we Seniors were valuable. Betsy lived in Texas before we met, so I know enough not to 'mess with Texas'.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
