Evening, Wisdom and Beauty!

As I approve of a youth that has something of the old man in him, so I am no less pleased with an old man that has something of the youth. He that follows this rule may be old in body, but can never be so in mind.
Marcus Tullius Cicero

If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams.
Les Brown

It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.

That last one is so FIERY!

Cicero would be pleased with me. I am an old man but have plenty of kid in me. I see the world through eyes that have remained those of a 19-year old.

I am an old woman but I see the world through eyes of a 6 year old some days. Most days, through those of a 15 year old! :-)

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
