Delightful photos, Sylvia. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy such beauty even if it's virtual on this cold and dark winter morning...

It looks a bit like the Alps in the south of Europe. :)

Makes me think of the children's story-book "Heidi" .... high up in the Alps where the air is clear.
Wishing you a lovely week Sylvia. xx

I am imagining the place covered in snow. And me taking a break from skiing with a cup of chocolate mixed with coffee.

Once, in Greece, I was stuck in one of these... but it's a great way of enjoying spectacular views and this is the case. Wonderful!

That does look like a great place to visit.

I was very pleased to find almost no litter on the beaches in north Queensland. Long may it last!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
