Gorgeous all -- the sky effects in the last picture are really different -- I don't think I've ever seen a sky quite like that (and as you know, I spend a lot of time looking up!)

The textures in that last shot blew me away. Thanks for this beautiful post.

What uplifting photos and messages, dear friend. I love how the clouds dance in that afternoon sky in the last photo.

I hope that you will have a beautiful week ahead, mon amie.

Sylvia , the second one of the white lotus in the pond, kind of made me think of Marilyn Monroe and her famous photo where her white frock flared around, she trying , to keep it down......

In an ever changing
flowing
fluid life,
she stands
her blonde wisps of hair
reflecting the light,
as she holds
the undulating expanse
of her white frock,
so perfect
on her frame.

And sometimes
we forget
that the world
would not have seen her
had it not been
for the complicated
underwater maze
of
the green room support chorus,
shining flat in the background,
the slimy creatures
in black slithering
amidst branches
and
so much behind-the-scenes networking,
and her powerful admirers
who occasionally
plucked her away
and displayed her on their arm....

Quite true.

And I love the sun setting on an appreciative thought.

The water lily is very pretty, and the quote accompanying it is heartening!

I love the sky and the birds!

And the bees are very happy indeed even if the flowers dont look like this any more!

All three beautiful images Sylvia, but the sky in the last shot is like an epic story, the wind up high looks like it can't decide which direction to blow!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
