Sky Watch!!!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by  the Sky Watch team of  Sandy and I. And this week as every week, we remember Klaus and know that he joins us in spirit! Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week!
Thankfully the elections are over, President Obama will remain president and I am so very HAPPY!!  I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend with lots of beautiful skies!!!

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.

Hope is a waking dream.

It is only in sorrow bad weather masters us; in joy we face the storm and defy it.

The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a
particular mood of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed by the change; for happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up.  Charles Langbridge Morgan

Lovely skies - stunning colours. And over here in Europe, we're breathing a sigh of relief at the outcome of the elections too.

Okay, now you're showing off! Sheesh! Just hang 'em and frame 'em. They'd make a great collection on your wall. But hang 'em at different angles.

Beautiful skies, great quotes, happy election result ~ what more could we ask for? :-)

I love the silhouette of the trees against that magnificent sky in your first photo, but I especially love your dramatic last photo. We had a sunrise that looked just like about a week ago that filled my SkyWatch post last week. Such a gorgeous sky!

Hi Sylvia - Love your series and quotes, as always. Happy that Obama won, fair and square. Hope that in his 2nd term he will be able to accomplish the many things he wasn't able to in his first because the other side didn't want to cooperate. I've missed you!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
