What a header!
Oregon is such a beautiful State. I can well imagine all the scenic photographs you will take in and around Portland once you get settled. Getting settled is always a bit tricky but how wonderful that you have family to help. The busyness of the move and change in scenery will help ease the sadness over Sam.
relocating is bittersweet, i'm sure. we love the seattle skies. :)

swapping one beautiful location to another is a good problem, if you would call it that. hope the move is smooth and you don't get too stressed out or dog tired.
Wherever we are, if we have lived in other places, we always miss somewhere else. Enjoy your rain rich Seattle while you are there. The skies from your elevated above have been a great delight.
