I agree with Mersad: people were much more sophisticated then.I love the Queen and she and Prince Phillip so adventurous in the last photo. I trust you're having a great Sunday, Sylvia. Greetings. Jo

Those were the days. Thanks for the memories.

If there's one thing I liked about these "good ol' days," it was that people had some concern for their appearance. Compare the scruffy characters who inhabit Hollywood today with Cary Grant and Sophia Loren.

And I like feminine charms a great deal but does every actress have to expose all of their silicone mammary glands everywhere they go? They could leave something to the imagination - and I have
a good imagination. :)

Well, Cary Grant, Frank Sinatra, and Sophia Loren are wonderful but nothing beats the girl with the short skirt and the long legs. But that's just me!!

Sophia Loren! An international icon. Not bad for a girl.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
