Sky Watch

Time to share our skies on Sky Watch!!  Here in Oregon and Washington we have been -- we are enjoying incredible Spring-like weather and have been since soon after the first of the year which is amazing!!! But I’m surely not complaining!!

me.

I love your remarks about peace. I belong to Community of Christ...a peace church. Too much of the world thinks the answer to differences is war. War is never the answer. It just creates more problems.

The little boats on the water in the first photo look like magical toys. And glorious panorama of sky colours in the other two photos.

Sylvia, at first glance I thought the sailboats were sharks! Your skies couldn't be more welcoming. I also love the new header!

I don't know the word scrumptious so I will just call that last shot stunning. Is that okay, dear Sylvia? And yes: peace is in all of us. All we need to do is let is go out and sometimes that takes a little effort. So...'Shoot pictures, not people!'

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
