I'm in awe! What fantastic photos you have found. I wouldn't want to live in that tiny house in Serbia, but what a grand vista! And those mountain climbers! I don't even like to climb a ladder! My favorite, though, is the old Metropolitan Opera House. The majesty is breathtaking. Why can't we build these kinds of places today?

Thanks for your kind comment on L & L!

How the heck does one build a house like that in the middle of all that water! Wow.

Those lionesses look like they want me for dinner! I remember your posts on Sam Schnauzer, you must miss him - dogs are such wonderful companions.

PS: my slowness to comment and visit has been caused by a trip to an island in the Pacific!

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
