Shadow Shot Sunday #34

Posted by Picasa

We haven't had any sun in so long I had to look back to summer for a picture to post! Ah, I am longing for the sun to reappear!
Check my side bar for the Shadow Shot Sunday icon and click to join us and share your shadows.

Yeah and me three ... Jest hate this miserable weather, why couldn't we live on a planet with no cold miserable and rainy weather Huh ? Mind you living on earth 'is interesting' ... there's that to it ! and we do have beautiful shades of green most of the time, would hate to stay on a desert like planet... Maybe we're not so badly off after all !

Cheers from a 'very green and wet ' part of the world, Kate xxx.

nothing wrong with deserts except summer heat but winters are wonderful full of sun and warmth...

Sylvia;

I just talked to my brother in Naples Florida...of course it's beautiful and sunny there today... I am having such cabin fever, more this year then others!
I like you, don't get out a lot, particularly when it's snowing and icy out!
So nice to remember what warm sun and green grass looks like! I have missed your visits to my blog but love reading your many posts, they always make me feel better!
Enjoy your Sunday

Ah, beautiful summer shot!
Gorgeous sun here today, but freezing cold at 8F (-13C).

Beautiful green grass! Sop that's what's under all the snow! I love the straight trunks and their shadows.

Beautiful shadow shot. I love your header photo too.
We have robins all over our yard as I type this, spring is just around the corner.

It is all white ground and gray skies here too. This is a beautiful shot and an nice reminder that Spring will return again.

You've captured so much beauty in this one shot. Mountains, lush grass, water, reflections, gorgeous trees...and of course the most wonderful shadows. A beautiful scenic shot!

Hope you get some sunshine soon :)

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
