Evening Words, Wisdom and Beauty
An eye for an eye, and the whole world would be blind.
Kahlil Gibran
Coming generations will learn equality from poverty, and love from woes.
Kahlil Gibran
Perhaps the words this evening or more wise than beautiful, but they are all too true. So, we look to the skies for beauty.

if we look down, we only see stumbling blocks, if we look up we can find a vision of where to go..
Beautiful sky there, and Gibran was a very wise man.
I wish the whole world would take those words to heart and act accordingly. What a gorgeous sky!
Beauty and wisdom! Thanks for sharing both.
I must learn more about Gibran. He seems very wise.
I love the sunrises and sunsets...the gold in this one is really nice!
I read my children Gibran in the hope that love and light will stick to parts of their bodies, minds, hearts, when they go out in the world and are faced with right and wrong.
This was lovely.
I love the wisdom and insight you share in these posts, Sylvia. I don't always comment, but I'm always lifted up by them, and sometimes just left without words. Thank you for sharing them, and adding such beautiful photographs too!
