Our deck -- the railing and the wooden bench manage to make complementary shadows.
Colored shadows are always one of my favorites!
Shadows thicken and deepen over the summer and somehow the same trees look different than they did in the spring.

The sundappled wall is so pretty. My favorite, though, is the glass one. Those could be the ears of a silicon alien, just popping his head up into view.
Always love the glass shadow shots! I have some in my stash for future postings...but, yes the quality of light is changing as we approach fall. It is loosing it's harshness.
