Sky Watch Friday!

It's that time of week once again to bask in the beauty of skies from all over the world! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and Louise! Click here to sign up and share the beauty of your skies with us!

Fall is fast approaching and there is a subtle difference to our beautiful skies here in Seattle. Sometimes it is easier to see down at the harbor and that's where the first two shot were taken. The last one was taken -- as usual from our wonderful deck!

Love doesn't make the world go 'round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.
Franklin P. Jones

If you want the rainbow, you have to put up with a little rain!
Dolly Parton

Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt and dance like nobody's watching.

I took some sunset shots last night, and noticed how far along the lake the sun had "moved" - almost halfway to its winter setting point!

Sylvia,

You have the best seats in the house ! No need to go see any movies and stuff. Just sit and enjoy the celestial theatre as you sip
a cup of coffee on your deck....

great pictures...

I just love your skies, I know I say that a lot but its true!
Interesting the difference in the Summer to Fall skies. I'm going to have to study the skies closer then I do.
(which will be fun)

Sylvia, fantastic photos, as always. Thank you for leaving a comment on my Strange Clouds post--it turns out that they are mammatus clouds (thanks to QuietPaths for the I.D.).

As I travel the world via Skywatch today to leave comments, it seems that you have been everywhere ahead of me! You are one busy lady, and so QUICK!

To think that some people worry about what they would do with all the days of retirement. I think that you and I are laughing our way through the wonderful gift of these lovely years...

Yep, I've notice the skies are changing up here in Victoria as well. It's a nice change (I'll regret saying that in November).

Beautiful photos Sylvia.
