Great shots! Waterfall is my favorite! I love waterfalls. Last summer we spent many weekends driving to various part of new england to take photos of waterfalls!

I enjoy Gordy and Twains words here the best.

A smile is a portal into the realm of Now.

A smile shows UP and is revealed on more than one's face.

I make a point to smile as much as possible, it's good for the soul.
Lovely pictures, as always, especially the waterfall.

Such lovely photos (and quotes). I'd like to know more about the photos, where and when. They are beautiful.

Oh yes! I definitely believe in smiles. It's nice to see people smiling at you when you pass them on the street. I see more of that in Hawaii than I do on the mainland, I'm afraid.

Nice shots. I like your smile quotes. They say a smile can lower your blood pressure.

Hi Sylvia..some lovely photos and scenery here! I was looking earlier this morning, and the photos were taking a while to download. Thanks for visiting my world this week also!

I meant to say that I love your quotes. The one about old clothes should have people like me feeling better!

Beautiful photographs - the last shot of the autumnal trees is magic!! So true those quotes on smiles - if you smile the whole world smiles with you - and it really does light up a person's face - it makes all the difference I think!

A smile is an instant face lift and makes the day go easier. But I hate the smiles of newscasters on the local news - most of the news is not happy, so what on earth are they constantly smiling about?

Superb photos! And what wonderful quotes!

A friend of mine loves the quote "If you see someone without a smile, give him one of yours."

Smiles, and smile quotes, are wonderful! Thanks Sylvia!

Wow! The waterfall is magnificent. I've seen many waterfalls, but none I think to equal this one. I really like the last one too - beautiful autumn colours, especially the burnt orange - is it a rock?

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
